Sent home.

No baby yet. My test's at the hospital all turned out well so they decided the baby can stay in longer. Such a shame. I was hoping that the ultrasound would annoy the hell out of her so she would come out but no luck yet with that. It annoyed me though I almost fainted 2 times during it from laying on my back. I had to keep asking to sit up for a few minutes. It was horrible. They also approximate that she weighs 9 POUNDS!! I almost fainted for a third time after I heard that. Those approximations aren't alway's that accurate though.

Have a good weekend.

Oh Jenna, 9 pounds is one big baby. Must be all that healthy vegan nutrition! Girl, I hope that baby comes soon for you. I can't even begin to imagine the agony you're going through right now.

Woah, that's a big baby. Must be all the vegan food. Whoever said vegans were skinny people suffering from malnutrition? Hah!

Next time we get an update from you it had better be after the baby's been born! :)

You must have a great doc. Most of the time they are in such a hurry to induce. Don't think too much about the size...it is not completely accurate. They were a pound off with my first. Also, the head is what matters. :-) Sounds like you have a healthy little/big girl in there who just isn't quite ready to come out yet. I know it can be hard to wait! I hope you are holding her soon and all goes beautifully!

ya, don't worry about size too much.. my son was over 9 lbs .. it's not a big deal :) no matter how big your baby is, you will get bigger! happy birthing!

She'll come when she's ready. You've obviously nourished her well and soon all of this worrying will be a memory.

Wow- 9lbs?!? I love that- I'm going to mention you every time someone talks about nina planck & vegan pregnancy.

Go Jenna and baby- whenever she's ready! She's taking her own sweet time there Mama!

I feel guilty for what I did to my mom- I weighed almost 9 pounds when I was born, and so did my brother! I agree that I'm glad your doctor seems like the relaxed kind, not too eager to induce- although I'm sure you wouldn't mind that right now! Take care of yourself, enjoy the slight break from the heat wave, and get some rest if you can- things are about to get interesting for you! {hugs}

Yeah I weighed almost 9 pounds and was a month late, but that was 30 years ago so maybe predicting the birth date was not so good then ;) Ironically, I'm a tiny petite person of 5'2". I know you are anxious to have your baby but maybe you'll have a September baby. Sept is my favorite month even though i was born in July!
