BROWNIES!!! (updated 8/23)

UPDATE: Still no baby for us. If I don't go into labor by noon tomorrow I go to the hospital for some test just to make sure she is doing alright. So if you don't hear from me tomorrow or saturday that means i'm prolly staying at the hospital to somehow give birth to this monster kid. :)

Today was rainy and cold. I wasn't feeling well. I was bored. So I made my Vegan Choc Chip-Walnut Brownies! My favorite part of a batch of brownies are the edge pieces. I love the crispy edge. I made these brownies in cupcake pans so that they all had that edge piece taste, which they did. They however didn't make me feel any better though. It's a first that chocolate didn't lift my spirits but I was still happy to make and eat them. So was Peter.

If I remember correctly, the day you get a burst of energy is the day you go into labor, so hang in there!

Your brownies look rich and decadently awesome! Have you seen the Edge Brownie Pan?

I have seen the edge brownie pan! I was really excited about it but then realized I could just use a cupcake pan and save some bucks. :)

Unfortunatly there was no burst of engery while making the brownies..I felt like I was going to die but I couldn't take laying or sitting on the couch another minute. I'm hanging in there though.

Jenna, I had a dream about you last night! Ok, it was a dream about your blog, but it was a picture of you holding your baby and she was the most beautiful baby ever. So I came here to report that to you- hang in there!

Great idea to make the brownies in a cupcake pan. I'm a huge fan of portion control and this is a terrific idea to help with that. Wish I would have thought about it a long time ago!

emmie...the edge is the best!

johanna...thanks..i will forever have sympathy for prenant ladies.

bazu..i wish i had that dream! i dreamt i was being suffocated by sand at the beach! :( I hope she is as beautiful as you have dreamed! she alway's looks the same in my dreams so i can't wait to see if she looks like i think.

viv..i like portion control as well that's why the cupcake pan is wonderful. when you bake them in a sheet tray it's so easy to cut and eat huge piece of brownie.

What a GREAT idea to bake them in a cupckae pan... I will definitely do that the next time I make brownies...

Hang in there.... She will come at the perfect time .... due dates can really be hard on you, feeling overdue when you go past them... those last days of pregnancy seem like years..

you are in our thoughts and I wish an ecstatic birth for you.

Girl- you've been cooking up a storm this whole time. And cooking up some great eats- impressive!

Baby will come soon once she realizes that one day she will be taking bites of mommy's delicious cooking.
