Box at door.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH how exciting it is to come home from a long weekend away to find a package OF FOOD!!! at your door!!! I finally ordered Primal Strips and Shells and Chreese from Food Fight! I can't fine either product where I live, which is crazy considering that I don't live in some boonie area. I've tried the Primal Strips already and yum! Especially the Mesquite Lime! It's a perfect protein snack for those days where I just can't eat a proper meal during the day. I also finally ordered The Damn Tasty Vegan Baking Guide (it took me long enough). I'm very excited to try out alot of the recipes after I finally go food shopping sometime this week. I'm out of everything and I mean everything. It will be a big trip. I might even drop Reno off at her Grandma's tomorrow to get it all done.

This weekend I was at my parents house. Here is a pretty caterpillar who is living on the parsley eating it to bits.

Jennifer, caterpillar is a Black Swallowtail and should form a pupa and hatch in spring. That is if you and your Mother leave it enough parsley ;-) Great seeing you and Peter and Nibbles this weekend.

Oh, p.s. give mock meat in a can a chance! Our favorite thing to do is smother mock duck in BBQ sauce, and then toast it in the toaster oven until it's crisp and chewy- serve with some brown rice and steamed greens- it's a strangely satisfying dinner. And quick too, saving more time for chilling with baby!

That caterpillar is just adorable.

Hey there... I found your blog through a comment you left @ MegantheVegan's. I'll have to stop by more often, looks like good stuff.

The caterpillar is cool and yay for Foodfight packages. Unfortunately I am not really a fan of chreese. I've found the homemade mac and cheese recipes from vegweb or new farm are farm tastier.

Your beer battered seitan below...looks delicious.

Food Fight is awesome. They need to expand to Texas (maybe not their target audience, but hey, there are plenty of vegans here!) I love getting packages. The anticipation is killer! Damn Tasty is awesome. The lemon almond torte has been my fave. Enjoy!

I have had a box of that mac & cheese in my pantry for ever now. I suppose it's time I finally use it up.

I love getting stuff in the mail. It's so much fun and often, it's cheaper than the local stores.
